Virginia's Supreme Court has sided with the Governor.

The court stopped the Governor from interfering in the case of Hugh Finn in October of 1998.
Governor Jim Gilmore tried to stop Finn's wife Michele from withdrawing artificial life support, three years after he entered into a "persistent vegetative state."

But today, the state high court said the Governor's attempt to intervene was reasonable-- so he should NOT have to pay Mrs. Finn's legal fees or any damages.
