A Lewis Gale Clinic spokesperson CONFIRMS it's an option being considered, but adds NO decision has been reached on that matter.
As for negotiations with parent company Phycor, the spokesperson says the clinic hopes to have a final settlement on April 1st.
A settlement that would allow the clinic to sever ties with Phycor and become an independent clinic owned by the physicians.
Lewis-Gale Clinic operates 14 satellite clinics throughout the Roanoke and New River Valleys.
