Today, that conclusion is generating some high-voltage anxiety for residents.

The governor's office says that will mean 320 new jobs over the next three years, and a 41 million dollar investment.

A Roanoke Grand Jury indicted her last week for Unlicensed Practice of Nursing and Unlawful Use of a Medical Title. On her application for the job, she allegedly claimed she was an L-P-N. A capias has been issued for her arrest.
For six months King worked for Doctor Joan Resk, an Osteopathic Physician with a most unconventional practice in the Clearbrook area.

Dr. Resk says she asked King- -repeatedly- -for her license, but she says King kept coming up with excuses. Finally Resk called the Board of Nursing and discovered this 37 year old Glenvar native has no license.
Vivian Joyce King already has a criminal record. She's twice been convicted of petty larceny. In 1996 King was arrested in the Shenandoah National Park for Driving under the Influence with an open container of alcohol. She gave the Park Ranger the name "Judy Fifer," providing a Social Security number and date of birth that matched Fifer's D-M-V records.
King went to court-- still masquerading as Fifer- -and pled guilty. When D-M-V notified the real Judy Fifer that her license was being suspended for the D-U-I conviction, she convinced officials they had the wrong woman.
Once King's true identity was determined, she served six months at the federal women's prison in Alderson, West Virginia for providing false information.
King declined to discuss her nursing career on camera, claiming she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize the U.S. Attorney's investigation of Joan Resk.))

The year 2000 will be very busy for former U-V-A hoops star Dawn Staley. Staley is the new women's basketball coach at Temple. Staley, a Philadelphia native, is recovering from knee surgery she replaces Kristen Foley who resigned after five seasons.
