He apparently checked into a Roanoke hospital over the weekend for undisclosed reasons.

The heavy rains flooded wash basins leading to the helicopter rescue of two boys caught in a flood-channel.
The helicopter crew lowered a sheriff's deputy into the rushing water where he grabbed the boys one at a time and brought them to safety.

Police say a tenant took out his anger on fellow tenants- shooting two of them to death, and wounding at least four others.
The 57-year old suspect then barricaded himself inside the building- at one point firing shots out of the top floor window.
The man is now in custody- police took him out on a stretcher.
Police say the shooting happened after the man was called to the manager's office to discuss other resident's complaints about him.

Students at Auburn Middle School raised more than seven-thousand dollars for two classmates with cancer.
They presented half to Brooke Quesenberry (KWEH-sen-berry) and her parents.
The sixth grader has Hodgkins Disease and is in remission.
Eighth grader Jessica Kozar's family also accepted a donation.
She's undergoing chemotherapy for a rare form of brain cancer.

The Hokies stole three wins from Xavier this past weekend.
Freshman righthander Joe Saunders earned A-10 Pitcher of the Week and Rookie of the Week by throwing back to back shutouts including one against Xavier.
He's eight and one so far this season and leads the team with a 3.09 ERA.
Drafted by the Phillies last year, he says choosing college over the minors was the way to go.
