Roanoke has been practicing outside this week. One major key this weekend will be the quarterback play. Former Virginia Tech star Al Clark is still adjusting to arena football. Back up Will Burch has come off the bench and played well. He has some arena football experience and is challenging Clark for playing time.

((PETE SHAW/STEAM HEAD COACH:WILL BURCH CAME IN AND DID AN EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD JOB, BUT WE'RE GONNA MAKE OUR QUARTERBACK DECISION RIGHT BEFORE GAME TIME. WE'RE ROTATING THE QUARTERBACKS WITH ALL THE DIFFERENT UNITS AND WE'LL SEE HOW THEY DO THIS WEEK AND IT TAKES TIME TO MATURE AS AN ARENA QUARTERBACK AND WILL BURCH HAS HAD MORE EXPERIENCE THAT WAY AND SO WE'LL JUST LET THEIR PERFORMANCE DURING THE WEEK DETERMINE WHO THE STARTER IS AT GAME TIME.))
