The bus fire is being chalked up to tire failure, causing one tire to lock up and catch fire because of friction.


The fire ended a field trip to Jamestown.

A Lynchburg man is under arrest, charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill his girlfriend.
27- year- old Michael Farner was taken into custody Tuesday after an undercover sting in a Campbell County motel room.
Authorities say Farner tried to hire an undercover A-B-C officer to murder his girlfriend because she knew too much about crimes he'd been involved in.
He's being held without bond.
