The little boy was attending a weekend outing with his step father and two brothers when he was discovered missing, yesterday afternoon

Authorities say he was later found in the swimming pool at the Church of God State Offices.
The boy died later at a local hospital. Just what happened is still a mystery -- since church officials say the pool is surrounded by a gate and is always locked.

He and his family belonged to a church in Virginia Beach.
Authorities do not suspect foul play -- and are waiting on autopsy results to determine the cause of death.

A former state delegate will serve three years probation for cocaine possession.
38- year old Lawrence Douglas Wilder Junior was sentenced Friday as part of a plea agreement.

But what about the angry citizens of Floyd that could be produced to give credence to this media attention? It is my contention that if you beat the bushes hard enough, and if you use enough inflammatory language, you will be successful in finding people with opinions on controversial issues. Instead of trying to defuse a controversy they help to create, the local news media fanned the flames of discontent while standing gleefully by ready to film whomever it consumed."
