245 people will be looking for new jobs now that Ingersoll-Rand has announced it's closing it's Roanoke County plant.
The company plans to transfer the assembly operations in Roanoke County to the company's worldwide Drilling Solutions headquarters and plant in Garland, Texas by March of next year.

A Henry County teenager faces criminal charges for accidentally shooting his best friend.
Yesterday, authorities charged the 13 year old teen with involuntary manslaughter for fatally shooting 13 year old Brandon Lee Moore.
Investigators say the two were playing with the gun and thought it was unloaded.
