The 19 year old's Busch Grand National car crashed into the outside wall during practice at Loudon, New Hampshire. Rescue workers had to cut Adam out of the car by removing the roof. He was then airlifted to a nearby hospital where he was soon pronounced dead of head trauma.

Earlier this week, Adam was in Charlotte testing during an open practice session for the upcoming events at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. He was excited about having the opportunity to race against his dad, Kyle, in the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend.

Getting there took nearly four hours and a lot of maneuvering...
Workers tore down tree limbs and hoisted up power lines to get it across town in one piece.
Museum officials want to reconstruct the run-down building to show children what school was like in the 1800s.
The museum hopes to have it restored by September, with the help of donations.
