An accident at the intersection of Whispering Pines Road and highway 58 sent four people to the hospital this afternoon.
Authorities say 86 year old June Smith Mitchell from Danville, pulled out in front of another driver.
Officers charged Mitchell with failing to yield the right of way.
Less than two weeks ago a similar incident happened involving a school bus...
more than a dozen children had to be taken to the hospital.

Among those atttending the service today were Winston Cup stars Dale Jarrett, Terry Labonte and Ward Burton.
