A Virginia Tech veterinary medicine professor was found guilty today of stealing drugs from the the school.
John Jacobson will serve one year of supervised probation and counseling for the theft of a synthetic form of morphine.
Jacobson had been using the drugs since last spring.
He's been suspended from the vet school since he was caught on camera stealing them.
Virginia Tech says Jacobson's employment is still under review.
