((The last day of classes in Lake Worth, Florida, was supposed to be a happy day. Instead, gun fire rang through this class room and the hallways of a middle school near West Palm Beach. That's when a 13-year old student shot his teacher in front of fellow classmates. "Nathaniel says pulled out a gun teacher says it's not funny anymore and he pulled the trigger back and shot" Police say seventh grader Nathaniel Brazil was sent home from school for throwing water balloons. But he returned to speak with two students in Barry Grunow's class. Grunow stopped him, that's when he pulled out this handgun and fired a single shot. The beloved language teacher died after being shot in the face.
Jeff Neal, Teacher: "He was a great teacher" Investigators say Brazil apparently got the gun at his grandfather's house. Classmates described the teenager as friendly, and a good student. "He was good, never thought this would happen" Stunned students milled around the school campus after the shooting. Everyone in this community appears shaken, wondering how all this could happen. It shouldn't have happened, not knowing what went on with the other high school. It should not have happened. Teachers and students will come back Saturday for counseling.
