Westbound traffic will be funneled into the right lane and will need to use the Route 122 interchange to the event. Holiday travelers headed to Smith Mountain Lake are advised to avoid those roads all together. From the Roanoke area -- Lake traffic will need to take Route 24 to Route 757 or Route 634 to steer clear of the D-Day congestion.
