The victim's husband, Paul, is also charged with elder neglect. His arraignment has been continued until next week because he did not have appropriate legal counsel and did not enter a plea.
Last year, Elizabeth Stolbun was found covered in urine, blisters and vomit. Health officials rescued her from her home but she died in the hospital a few days later.

Published reports say a Bedford County toddler drowned in a pool at the home of an un-licensed child care provider in Vinton.
The two- year- old girl was found in a backyard above- ground pool yesterday morning by the woman who was keeping children at her home.
Police say the girl's death was accidental. They think the girl opened a secured gate and fell into the pool.
It has not been decided whether charges will be brought against the woman who is not a licensed child care provider.
