Convicted killers nationwide will have a harder time challenging death sentences now that the U-S Supreme Court says juries do not need to be told if parole is an option in a death penalty case.
The five to four decision came today in the case of a Fairfax killer whose execution was stayed last year.

But Friday Virginia's State Supreme court ruled six to one that jurors should now be told that parole is no longer an option for capital murders in Virginia.

Both decisions come as a national report shows Virginia has a per capita execution rate nearly double the next nea
