The Roanoke City Police department is trying to adjust this morning to the loss of not only one of their own, but a friend. 31 year old Connie Ray Lee died from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident Saturday night.

The search continues this morning at Smith Mountain Lake for man who may have drowned. The search began yesterday after receiving a 9-1-1 call shortly before three.

They're concentrating on the area near the Beacon Light Marina where two men were boating.
The pair apparently jumped in to cool off-- but one of the men did not surface.
Dive teams were called in along with the Bedford County Sheriff's Department.
The search was called off around nine- forty five last night.
Officials plan to resume the search at seven this morning.
So far, the man's identity is unknown.
