Virginia is getting the electric chair ready for the first time in two years.
A man set to die next week has picked that method of execution instead of lethal injection.
Russell Burket was convicted of killing a neighbor and the woman's five-year-old daughter in Virginia Beach seven years ago.
Burket's lawyer says his client wants to end his life "with an exclamation mark."
Since lethal injection became available in Virginia, only one of the 52 inmates executed has chosen the electric chair.
