Gillespie says he heard Pleasant's dog barking more then usual Thursday night but didn't think anything of it. The owner of the Alleghany Inn where Pleasants worked for the past two years was worried Thursday when she didn't show up for work.

That's after a both sides deadlocked again in negotiations today.

It hit a guardrail and rolled down an embankment.

(( Marty Somers might not bat, hit or catch, but he more than pulls his weight with the Avalanche. Assigned to Salem by the Colorado Rockies, Marty serves as the team's strength and conditioning coach, running a program in it's second season in Salem. ((MARTY:)) The emphasis is not on how much a player can heave but how long a player can stay healthy. Baseball players, for the most part have stayed out of the weight room, but that philosophy has changed and the pumping iron craze has trickled down from above. ((JUSTIN:))
Weightlifting can make a player tight and thus more susceptible to injury, that's where marty comes in, making the players lift, then getting them limber. ((:)) According to Marty, an Avalanche player burns as much as four to five thousand calories a day compared to 2500 hundre calories for a non athlete. The club house is well stocked with fruits and high carbohydrate foods.))

sunny Miami Beach- taking in the rays and kicking back?
Well look at little closer at this beach before you answer that question.
An unwelcome visitor showed up on Fisher Island Beach.
The crocodile estimated between six and eight feet in length hung out on the beach for three hours-
The American crocodile is an endangered species and is considered dangerous.
There have been no prior crocodile sightings in the area-
The croc swam back into the ocean but was captured late today.
