While Rubatex brings back its union workers, Celanese and union leaders are back at the table today in hopes of avoiding a walkout.

Another Supreme Court ruling on prayer .. this one involving high school football games.
The Court ruled today that public school districts cannot let students lead stadium crowds in prayer before games.
This morning's ruling reaffirms a landmark 1962 decision that outlawed organized, officially sponsored prayer in public schools.

Jury selection gets under way today in the Branch Davidian wrongful death lawsuit.

A Dutch driver is under arrest in Britain after 58 bodies were found in the back of his truck.
The dead are suspected illegal immigrants... who were trying to sneak into the country.

The plane that crashed during a Pennsylvania air show this weekend was based in Virginia.

Both people on board the F-14 Tomcat were killed.
The jet was attempting a manuever used in carrier landings when the trouble developed.... Witnesses say the Tomcat careened into nearby woods and burst into flames.
The F-14 was based at the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach.

The town of Blacksburg is sending its condolences to the family of a Lynchburg man ... killed Sunday while competing in the the Third Annual Greater Blacksburg Triathlon.
30 year old Gary Wayne Taylor died about an hour after his bicycle collided with a car near the Virginia Tech Colisem.
The triathlon is sponsored by the town of Blacksburg.

Police in Washington DC are looking for a gunman who shot and killed a Roanoke native in a weekend holdup.
28 year old John Muskopf Junior was walking home with some friends when a car pulled up and a gunman demanded money.
Officials say when Muskopf refused, the gunman shot him in the head and neck.
Muskopf was a 19-90 graduate of Patrick Henry's Governors School and attended the University of Virginia.
He was a C-I-A nuclear engineer and considered rising star within the agency.

An overpass on one of the busiest motorways in Canada collapsed early Sunday, killing one person and seriously injuring two others.

A car with three men inside was trapped under the rubble for hours as rescue workers struggled to free them. Cranes had to be brought in to remove huge concrete slabs from the car.
