The third time may be the charm.
The debate over redistricting Roanoke County's new high school in Cave Spring has led to a third plan that was outlined at a public hearing last night.
(--------------)
[VO-NAT]
[SUPER=03-Roanoke Co.]

The latest proposal would have students at Back Creek, Oak Grove, and Cave Spring Elementary attend Hidden Valley Junior High and then the new high school. Students at Bent Mountain, Clearbrook, Green Valley, and Penn Forest would attend Cave Spring Junior High and then Cave Spring High School.
Parents say this might be the best plan out of the three to keep students together.

The school board says the only problem with the plan is that it would fill the new high school to capacity.
But the new plan will provide a more balanced enrollment between Cave Spring and Hidden Valley.
The school board will vote on a plan tomorrow.
