Amherst County officials are holding a teen charged with murdering his mother and wounding his father.

Police say the 15-year old shot and killed his mother, then waited for his father to return home from work before shooting him.

Authorities found FIVE bodies in a home.

A Danville man convicted on child pornography charges says he's sorry for his crimes.

25-year old Roger Donavan Freeman addressed the court before the judge handed down a seven and a half year prison sentence.
After serving his sentence Freeman will be on three years probation, receive counseling and enter into the sex offender program.
Judge James Ingram convicted Freeman last month of sodomy, statutory rape and child pornography.
Additional charges are pending.

A Virginia Tech student pled "no contest" on a charge discarding her stillborn baby in a dumpster.

21-year-old Rosetta Clark was convicted yesterday.
The judge sentenced her to serve 20 days in jail.

Clark called police to her apartment in March because she couldn't stop her bleeding. Investigators say she denied giving birth.
But a trail of blood led them to the baby, wrapped in plastic bags in a dumpster at her apartment complex.
Clark won't have to go to jail yet...
Her lawyer says she'll appeal the conviction.
