Police in Danville today discovered a murder victim in his own home.
They entered the Wesly Drive apartment of 26 year old Early Wayne Watlington and found his body on the floor.
Police say Watlington appeared to have stab wounds to the back and a trauma wound to the head.
Officers were called to the apartment after relatives said they wanted to check on Watlington.
Danville police are asking anyone with information on the case to give them a call.

The Rockbridge County Sheriff's Department is the first law agency in the state that will install a new computer program which helps locate missing persons.
Wallace and Dorothy Fugo (Foh-GO) donated the 250 dollars needed to start Child Alert.

The founders of C-A-F demonstrated how the computer can be used to send out descriptions of missing persons with just one keystroke.
The program was initially developed to help find missing and abducted children, but it has been used to locate people of all ages.

This morning, 18 year old Serena Williams ousted Lisa Raymond in a blowout. The eighth seed won 6-2 and 6-love in match that lasted just 41 minutes. Serena then headed to center court to watch older sister Venus try to upset top seed Martin Hingis. This match would take two hours and 13 minutes, but Venus was up to the challenge as she beat Hingis 6-3, 4-6 and 6-3, much to the delight of her dad Richard Williams. Venus and Serena will now meet each other in the semi-finals on Thursday.
