Movie-goers can now go to the Drive-In three nights a week until October.
That's thanks to the efforts of the non-profit group, Hull's Angels... who refused to watch this Rockbridge landmark go down the tubes after the original owner died two years ago.

A problem developed with electronic signals inside the missile that tell ground controllers its course of flight.

Pentagon rocket scientists still hope to get it off the ground tonight.

An interceptor rocket is to be launched from an Army missile range in the Pacific Ocean 20 minutes after a target missile flies aloft from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
The idea was for the small maneuverable ``kill vehicle'' to be carried into space by the interceptor to guide itself into the path of the target missile.

But the landlord says a manager OFFERED to pay ten thousand dollars a month in a takeover attempt. The owner hopes to reopen the club Monday with a new air-conditioner.

Winston Cup driver Kenny Irwin was killed yesterday during a practice run at New Hampshire. The 30 year old driver of the Bell South Chevy was killed in virtually the same spot where Adam Petty dies on May 12th.

Irwin's car crashed coming out of turn three and slid on the driver's side into the turn before stopping and flipping over on its roof. By the time rescue workers got him out of the car he was taken to the infield media center and later to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of Multiple Injures. Irwin jumped to the Winston Cup ranks fulltime in 1998 - but had the misfortune of having to follow in the footsteps of Davey Allison, Dale Jarrett and Ernie Irvan in the Havoline Ford. He was never able reach the level those guys attained. This year Irwin switched to drive for Felix Sabates in the Bell South Chevy. He was 28th in points this year with on top five finish.

Five times a day, skunks square off side by side in a real stinker of a race.
