Boxes are being repacked and movers are loading the equipment onto the trucks at Roland E Cook Elementary school, where the health department has been operating from for the past eight months. But moving back into the old building won't be as easy for some, Susan Adcock has gotten quite attached to working here.

Bedford County authorities have finished an investigation of former Vinton police officer Bill Brown.
The prosecutor's office says Brown will NOT face charges in the death of his wife, Carmel.
A news release says police found no evidence to contradict the medical examiner's findings that Carmel Brown died of carbon monoxide poisoning, and that her death was accident.
She died almost a year ago while seated in her car inside a garage.

((Tyler Lumsden's claim to fame up until this year was his basketball exploits as one of Cave Spring's sharp shooters along side another pretty darn good marksman in J.J. Reddick. But Tyler is climbing the charts at a pace that nearly matches his blistering fast ball. ((:))
Lumsden has all of the tools college and even major league scouts are looking for at this stage of his development. He's a leftie, he has movement on his pitches, he has an effective slider and change up, plus is working on a sinker. But speed kills and Tyler is throwing 91 miles an hour. ((:)) Major League and college scouts watched the all district and all region pitcher at the Commonwealth games baseball competition day at Kiwanins Field. ((:)) Tyler was 7 and 1 this past season with a 3.00 ERA. The 17 year old is being recruited by North Carolina, Duke, UVa and Virginia Tech.))
