Searchers have found a 40 year old man who was missing in Franklin County overnight.
Larry Scott was found just before seven AM along Hopkins Road, about three miles north of Rocky Mount.
He had been missing for more than 10 hours when he was discovered.

Stress seems to have been a contributing factor in a Martinsville family tragedy over the weekend.
Four people are dead in what police call a triple-murder and suicide.

Police say Jesse LeRoy Brown left a note outlining his frustration with caring for his father Jesse Brown Senior, who had Alzhiemers Disease .. and his 12 year old nephew Dimitri Brown, who was physically and mentally disabled.
But there is help for people with difficult caregiving burdens.
Piedmont Community Services in Martinsville offers individual and family counseling. And there is a program called "Respite" to provide care-givers a break.

The state's retirement system will get some attention from Virginia's legislative watchdog agency.
It's called the "Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission".
When it meets in Richmond today, it will hear a report on how well the retirement system is investing the funds used to pay benefits to state government retirees.
Virginia allows state workers to retire at age 50 .. if they have at least 30 years on the job.

Eight months after its roof collapsed, the Roanoke County Health Department in Vinton is planning to move back into its permanent home.

About 50 relatives of Connecticut inmates who've been transferred to the Wallens Ridge prison in Wise County .. are making a long bus trip to see the super-maximum security prison.
Two Connecticut inmates have died there in the last year.
The relatives who left over the weekend are part of the growing discontent with Connecticut's inmate transfer policy, one intended to relieve that state's overcrowded prisons.
