An elderly woman in Roanoke County apparently shot and killed her husband before turning the gun on herself.

77 year old Jean Dymond and her 80-year old husband Robert lived on Bromley Road. Their daughter found the couple dead yesterday. Authorities would not speculate on a motive.
Neighbors say Mrs. Dymond was a nurse and her husband suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome.

Danville authorities say a murder investigation is pretty much closed after the suspect killed himself yesterday.

Officers were looking for 40 year old Clyde Scott Pruitt at a home on Overby street in Danville.
When officers began questioning the resident at the home, they saw Pruitt in a back room.
The murder suspect then shot himself in the head.
He later died at Danville Regional Hospital.
Pruitt was charged with last week's murder of 29 year old Chris Gill.

The plane with 140 people aboard was traveling from Greece to Germany.
It's not yet clear when the fuel supply stopped, but the plane glided toward it's rough landing with the engines turned off.
One wing and an engine ripped off the plane upon touchdown.

Retailers such as Flint actually profit ten cents per gallon, only seven if a customer uses a credit card to pay.
While the shock of the pumped-up prices is still hitting consumers, Flint says it's the oil companies who are benefiting.

A man from Utah may have won a million dollars in a national candy contest, but he will not get to spend the money anytime soon.
Brian McCluskey is a jail inmate.
A deputy at the Purgatory Correctional facility says she gave McCluskey a bag of M-and-M's for helping out with jail chores.
He found all sorts of wild colors inside when he opend the bag and other inmates told him he might have won the candy's "Fix Up the Mix Up" contest.
But the maker of M-and-M's says it is not sure the bag was the one winner.
Still, the county sheriff says there's no question in his mind that McCluskey is holding the million dollar bag.

Today, 35 year old Kimberly Briggs of Richmond became the first person in America to have surgery at the robotic hands of a doctor.
