Virginia's wine industry is booming, so why not have a state wine? That's what wine makers are asking.
Wine has been made in Virginia since Jamestown, but only recently has begun to turn a significant profit.
Some wine makers say having a state wine would help pour money into Virginia through sales, employment and tourism.

The number of Virginia wineries increased tenfold between 1979 and 1999.[8-11Radar]

Radar, which is a transportation service, will act as a feeder service for Valley Metro.
Starting tomorrow, Radar will begin the first of two new routes.
The orange line will provide service between Tanglewood mall and Lewis Gale hospital down the 4-19 corridor.
And the yellow line, starting July 25th, will extend service from Spartan Square in Salem to the Valley Tech Industrial Park.
