A stabbing victim was found wandering the streets in Botetourt County.

Police say the man's chest was bleeding as he walked along the side of the road near the Traveltown Motel near Cloverdale.
They suspect the stabbing occurred in Roanoke County.
The victim was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Police have not released the man's identity and there is no word yet on his condition.

State police say drunk driving may have caused the crash that sent four children and three adults to the hospital today.

It happened on Route 460 in Elliston.
30-year old Donna Renee McNeil was charged with drunk driving.
Troopers found alcohol in her car and smelled it on her breath.
They say her gray Chevy plowed through a stop sign and was hit by a white Oldsmobile.
The crash threw an 8-year old boy 70 feet out a window.
He and a female passenger were flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

Today scientists were on Robben Island- South Africa- where penguins rescued last month - are now back in the wild.
It was just last month that some 20-thousand penguins were taken from the shore and trucked about 500 miles.
That gave workers time to clean up the oil before the birds could become contaminated.
Today scientists are checking on the penguins-
The oil came from the wreck of the Treasure which sunk in nearby seas last month.
Now that the penguins are back- there is some fear that there is some oil- that could jeopardize the penguins-
