Authorities say 41 year old Bobby Darell Stallings apparently died from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head.

A worker at Brosville Auto Repair found Stallings in the front office shortly before noon.

Mental health experts are trying to figure out why Virginia has seen so many murder-suicides this year.
The state Medical Examiner's office has counted eleven so far.
That's more than took place all of last year in the state.

Nearly two weeks ago, an elderly Roanoke County nurse reportedly shot and killed her husband then turned the gun on herself.

Operation Lightining Strike has netted more arrests .. Earlier this week, 20 people from Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania were indicted on charges of manufacturing and distributing moonshine...
Today, several people were arrested in Hillsboro, North Carolina and charged with illegal liquor violations. A-T-F agents seized 400-to-500 gallons of moonshine and seized three cars.

Police say 19-year-old Ami Lynn Whisler was traveling South when she tried to change lanes to get out of the way of an aggressive driver.
Whisler struck the tractor-trailer and crossed into the Northbound lanes where she hit a convertible.

Police have questioned the truck driver - who says he wasn't aware of the accident.

Three separate accidents overnight killed four people.
In Pittsylvania County, 35-year-old Roy Wayne Weatherford and 42-year-old Brenda Darlene Johnson were killed when their cars collided on Route 640.
In Henry County, State Police say 42-year-old Ricky Lane Ferguson lost control of his vehicle on Route 606, around one A-M.
And a woman was killed in a head-on collision in Franklin County.
Police say 29-year old Gloria Diane Rogers, crossed the center line of Rt. 116 and struck another car.

(( This week in review... In Service America has teamed-up with Bedford County to bring in 300 plus telemarketing jobs.
The company currently employs four-hundred people in the Lynchburg and Bedford County area, and will soon be the county's largest employer.
The move to the 50,000 square foot Shell Building will be complete by the end of the year.
First Union has decided to sell off several local departments and branches.
The restructuring has taken its toll on profits.
The Charlotte-based company posted a substantial loss this quarter as stockholders actually forfeited two dollars and twenty five cents per share.
Company officials say after the changes are complete, earnings will begin to rise.
Roanoke Catholic's plan to donate money for improvements at Washington Park has been a hot topic of debate.
But Wednesday, the children who use the park got the chance to voice their opinion.
While many kids are excited about the changes, their elders are afraid the plan will push them out of a park that's part of their neighborhood.
The Dow industrials fell 110 points, down 79 points for the week. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed down 90 points, 152 points lower for the week.
