An explosion at Pulaski County High School forces hundreds of summer school students to do their studying somewhere else.

More than 200 students will be rerouted to another school starting tomorrow.
The explosion rocked Pulaski County High this weekend.

The blast occured in a room behind the cafeteria.
The room houses both the electrical and gas services for the school ..
Superintendent David Cox says the explosion caused major structural damage - and right now the school is considered unstable.
Engineers will be on site tomorrow to try to determine the extent of the damages.
In the meantime, summer school students will be taken to Critzer Elementary for classes.

It took a playoff to determine this years winner of the Ole Monterey Classic.
Matt Mankin, the defending champion, beat Mark Funderburke on the third hole of the playoff for the win.

The third round of the John Deere Classic was suspended today because of heavy rains.
Steve Lowery shot an 8 under par 63 and he's the leader in the clubhouse with the final round scheduled to resume tomorrow morning.
Lowery is at 268, 16 under par.

Meantime on the Senior Tour, Bruce Fleisher set a record at the Long Island Classic for the third straight day.
Fleisher shot a 3 under par 69 to finish at 198, 18 under par. He set a course record with a 63, logged a 36 hole record score of 129, 15 under par and broke Lee Trevino's old mark by two strokes.

The Roanoke Wrath for the second time in the past two days.
Northern Virginia beats the Wrath this afternoon 4 to nothing.
The Wrath will hold a free clinic at 6 PM on Tuesday night August the fifth for Camp Virginia Jaycees. A ticket will be given to each kid that attends the clinic and afterwards the Wrath will scrimmage the Camp Jaycee counselors.
