An overnight accident in Danville killed one person and injured another.

Police say a Ford Pinto was traveling Eastbound on West Main Street - ONTO Memorial Drive - when it ran off the road and struck a pole.
The driver died at the scene.
A passenger was taken to the hospital.
Police are still investigating the crash.
They are not releasing the victims' names until the family is notified.

Two months ago, union workers at the Celanese plant in Giles County rejected the company's contract offer.
Last night the company's latest contract was different, but the results were the same.

Firestone is increasing production in an effort to produce enough tires to handle the recall of six million tires in North America.
The company says it'll replace tires free of charge.

more than 16 hundred pages of documents.

However, one part does reveal new information about the co-pilot.
Gameel El-Batouty was alone in the cockpit when the plane started to
make its deadly descent.
In earlier statements U.S. investigators claimed El-Batouty
deliberately crashed the plane into the ocean.
And now this:
The FBI found several incidents where Gameel El-Batouty exposed himself
at this New York Hotel.
The crew had stayed here prior to the fateful flight.

The city of Roanoke is suing a contractor accused of building a defective house.

The foundation's cracked -- the return air vent was not properly sealed -- and the vinyl siding was never attached to the house.

He refuses to comment but plans to build ten more houses just like the house on Autumn Lane near Salem.

Police say it was a single car crash - they're still investigating.
The driver died at the scene.
