President Clinton and the First Lady have been doing their share to promote their own causes throughout Tinseltown, raising money for Hillary's Senate race and for the Presidential Library. All this has drawn critcism from Gore supporters for taking too much of the spotlight. But the president did find time to say a few kind words about Gore's running mate Joeseph Lieberman. Speaking to a Jewish group in Los Angeles, the president said Lieberman's selection might even help the mideast peace process.
