Believe it or not the Roanoke Valley experienced a small earthquake this morning.
Experts at Virginia Tech say the tremor registered between 2 and 2-point-5 on the Richter scale...a fairly minor earthquake-
It was enough to wake a few people in southwest Roanoke County, around 6:10 this morning.
Several called the county police department, wondering what had happened.
But no one was hurt, and no damage was reported.

(( The Berglund Soccer Complex in Vinton is the site of a special team soccer clinic this week. Members of Cave Spring Baptist Church are hosting 23 Brazilian amateur and professional soccer players through the weekend. While here, the Brazilians are instructing several local youth teams on their rhythmic style of play, something has not come easily to most of the area players. ((ED MCMICHAEL:))
The Americans also had to overcome a language barrier in order to keep up with their Brazilian counterparts. ((JAY PATEL:)) Among those English-speaking Brazilians is Texas-born Fernando Silvado, a seventeen-year-old who aspires to attend college and play soccer in America. ((FERNANDO SILVADO:)) ((DARON WILLIAMS:)) ((JEFF GARNER:)) Admission to Saturday night's game at Victory Stadium is just one dollar. And fans can take part in two clinics Saturday at the Berglund Complex at nine am and one pm. Daron Williams, News 7 sports.))
