Radford's City Council is trying to do something about the high turnover rate in it's police department.

The police department estimates that training and equipping each officer costs the city about 36-thousand dollars.

Starting this month, police officers who leave before they've completed three years of service will be asked to reimburse the city for some of their training costs.

Underwood was convicted once already by a substitute judge in General District Court.

It's called the HOPE Bus which stands for Healing Oppressed People Everywhere.
The bus is being transformed into two examination rooms for eye exams, screenings, dental care and other medical needs.

Volunteers hope to start identifying the needy through churches.

Three more physicians have resigned from Lewis Gale Clinic, that brings total resignations to 40 doctors in the last year.
Lewis Gale says these recent resignations are routine, and are not related to previous management problems.
Doctors Tim Hormel, Preston Waldrop and Gregory Reibel (REE-bell) did not want to discuss their resignations.
Since regaining independence from parent company PhyCor, 11 new physicians have joined the Lewis Gale Clinic Staff.

Speaking of Indiana, 15 year NBA veteran Chris Mullins has been waived by the Pacers after three seasons. Mullins playing time was cut drastically last season, he appeared in just 47 games and made just two starts. During his three seasons with the Pacers, Mullins averaged about 9 and a half points a game. Mullins release was a mutual agreement between (------------) him and the team.
