The police department estimates that training and equipping each officer costs the city about 36-thousand dollars.

Starting this month, police officers who leave before they've completed three years of service will be asked to reimburse the city for some of their training costs.

Underwood was convicted once already by a substitute judge in General District Court.

Volunteers hope to start identifying the needy through churches.

Lewis Gale says these recent resignations are routine, and are not related to previous management problems.

Since regaining independence from parent company PhyCor, 11 new physicians have joined the Lewis Gale Clinic Staff.

Speaking of Indiana, 15 year NBA veteran Chris Mullins has been waived by the Pacers after three seasons. Mullins playing time was cut drastically last season, he appeared in just 47 games and made just two starts.
