Who suggested at his NEXT Hollywood fund raiser -- Gore make good on his promise to make the entertainment industry clean up its act.
But the Republicans weren't spared either. One record executive used George W. Bush as an example for why it should be allowed to market vulgarity. DANNY GOLDBERG, ARTEMIS RECORDS "Those people have no moral right or legal right to impose such a standard on my family, or the millions of other Americans who, like George W.Bush, are comfortable with cursing."
A reference to Bush's off color remark, overheard during a campaign appearance.
But some of those criticized the most, weren't there to hear it. Not a single CEO of the Motion Picture industry showed up to defend themselves. People against the 55-mile pipeline have been pushing the company to put it's line alongside another company's line.
East Tennessee Gas has offered the following three options to Virginia Gas. [PRE-PRO] [PAGE 1]
Virginia Gas can share a pipeline with East Tennessee's existing one.
The lines can run 50 feet apart, but Virginia Gas would have to pay for any expansion.
OR, Virginia Gas can buy some of East Tennessee's existing property, creating a smaller right of way in between the lines. [END PREPRO]
Roanoke Gas is the company that want's to supply more gas to the region- It says the options are only beneficial in the short term.
It's urging Virginia Gas to continue the project.

A Roanoke man found dead inside a Myrtle Beach hotel room died from a stab wound.

Housekeepers at the Poindexter Hotel found 50- year old John Milton Bird dead yesterday morning.
Witnesses have told investigators they saw Bird with a man and two women in the hours before his death.
The names Jeremy Hackney and Chrissy were given to investigators.
Roanoke police are also helping with the investigation.
They are trying to determine who may have traveled to South Carolina with Bird.
