Iris P. Webb is in critical condition at Carilion Roanoke Memorial.
John W. Collins is in stable condition.
Kathy Caldwell is one of four victims now recovering at home.

A Radford man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for plotting to kill a judge.

Derrick Chapman escaped a jury's 30 year sentence in April for conspiring to kill Circuit Judge Ray Grubbs.
But yesterday's lighter sentence is still a sore spot with Chapman's friends and family.
They crowded the courthouse, wearing T-shirts calling for equal justice.
Chapman's friend and co-conspirator, Christopher DeMoranville (Dee-more-AN-ville), got 3 years' probation after cooperating with police.

A 20-year-old woman in New Kent County accused of killing her son in a microwave has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Elizabeth Otte (OAT-ee) is NOT admitting guilt, but says there's enough evidence to find her guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Under the plea agreement, she faces at most ten years in prison.
Otte's lawyers indicated earlier they had planned to use an insanity defense for the microwave killing.

The suspect in the Backstreet shootings was arraigned yesterday.
Ronald Edward Gay is being held without bond.
So far he's charged only with first- degree murder in the death of Danny Lee Overstreet.

Dozens of students stood in the rain last night to attend the candlelight services, sponsored by an on-campus organization called "Harmony."
