The original teletype announcing Germany's surrender in World War Two ended up in a U-S lieutenant's foot locker for some 50 years... after he forwarded the teletype as Dwight Eisenhower ordered.
Now a Beverly Hills collector who's friends with a Virginia Military Institute alumnus is donating the historic teletype to VMI's museum.
