School board members have agreed to award a single contract to one general contractor. They originally planned to award 19 different contracts, but 5 weren't bid on, and the school board said the rest were too high. The board says it plans to award the contract to a local builder Monday. The County Board of Supervisors will then have to release funding for the project. The new high school is slated for completion in time for the start of classes in the Fall of 2002.

Milosevic has called for a run-off election saying challenger Vojislav Kostunica (voh-YEE'-slahv kosh-too-NEET'-zuh) didn't get enough votes for outright victory. The opposition has refused to take part, and a ruling by Yugoslavia's constitutional court yesterday leaves the whole issue up in the air.
