A-T-F Agents believe more than one cadet was involved in setting the fire in barracks at Virginia Military Institute two and a half years ago.
Another former cadet was indicted this week, charged with arson and perjury.

Twan Redmond is not only a suspect in the fire itself. Authorities believe he lied to federal grand jurors when he said he didn't set the fire and didn't know whether Danny Payne did.

The fire occurred in May of 1998, the night six cadets were "drummed out" for honor code violations.

But today, a judge certified a second degree murder charge against 27-year-old Sherry Lisa Cressell.

Cressell is charged with shooting her live-in girlfriend, 23-year-old Sherry Lynn Wiley after a fight at their house in July.
The defense contends Cressell was trying to kill herself... that the gun went off when Wiley tried to intervene.
The prosecution says it was a domestic dispute that escalated to murder.
Authorities had been called to the house several times before, because of fighting.
