Al Gore wants Floridians to keep on counting, despite the decision by Florida's Secretary of State.
And another wrench may be thrown into plans for a new gas pipeline through Montgomery and Roanoke counties.
Cloudy skies all day today turning into rain tonight... the weather forecast is next.
Stick around for News 7 at noon.
George W- isn't Al Gore's ONLY political opponent.
The Vice President is also taking on Florida's Secretary of State in the courts.
Good Afternoon, I'm Kimberly McBroom.
Gore's legal team is asking Florida's state courts to rule against secretary of state Katherine Harris's refusal to accept any more vote counts.
That would keep out most of the hand- recount results.
Meanwhile, the Bush camp hopes a federal appeals court in Atlanta will hear its case to stop the hand recounts.
But regardless of what develops in the courtrooms today, tomorrow's deadline remains for overseas absentee ballots.
And those, too, will need to be counted.
Terisa Estacio is here with an update from Tallahassee.

A Danville man no longer faces the death penalty, but he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
The U-S Supreme Court overturned Terry Williams death sentence because justices said his court-appointed attorney did not offer a good defense.
Williams was sentenced to die because he confessed to killing Harris Stone in 1986.
But his attorney never told the jury that Williams suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome and is border-line mentally retarded.
He also did not call Williams' longtime friend as a witness or mention that Williams was a model prisoner.
