Good Afternoon, I'm Kimberly McBroom.
They're still counting ballots in three Florida counties.
But we don't know whether those votes will go toward the final tally in the Presidential race.
Florida's Supreme Court will holding a hearing at two o'clock on whether the manually recounted ballots WILL count.
Al Gore's people wants the recounts.
George W- Bush's camp does NOT.
Meanwhile, some residents of Palm Beach County who wanted to vote for president all over again received disappointing news today.
A judge says he doesn't have the authority to order a re-VOTE.
Drew Levinson is standing by in Tallahassee with the latest on the re- COUNTS.

FOR THE REPUBLICANS.. THE ARGUMENT IS THIS..."THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE DID NOT VIEW MANUAL RECOUNT AS A NECESSARY INGREDIENT IN DETERMINING THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE."
THEREFORE, REPUBLICAN SECRETARY OF STATE KATHERINE HARRIS USED HER DESCRETION PROPERLY WHEN SHE CHOSE TO CERTIFY THE ELECTION BEFORE THE HAND RECOUNTS WERE OVER.

FOR HIS PART, THE VICE PRESIDENT JOKED ABOUT THE UNRESOLVED ELECTION WHILE APPEARING VIA SATELLITE THIS MORNING AT A FAMILY CONFERENCE IN NASHVILLE. GORE HAS TO WAIT IN WASHINGTON WHILE THE CRITICAL HEARING GOES ON IN TALLAHASSEE.

The Botetourt County sheriff says the homemade explosive that killed a man may be buried inside him. Investigators say 20 year old Michael Henry of Fincastle was with friends when he detonated the device off Craig's Creek Road, near Eagle Rock Saturday night. According to the sheriff, it was a two inch long carbon dioxide canister, about as wide as an index finger, with a hole drilled in it and a makeshift fuse. Henry apparently placed the explosive next to a grinding wheel on a picnic table.
