((After a short break for a Thanksgiving meal, vote counters were back at their posts this morning. They're working to meet Sunday's deadline to send final tallies to the Florida secretary of state.
This while both camps await a decision from the U-S Supreme Court. Republican attorneys are asking the court to stop all hand counting.
Ted Olson/Bush Campaign Attorney 07:08:16 "We have said right from the beginning that the process in Florida should be the rules as set forth in Florida law at the time of the election."
Meantime, a major setback for Al Gore Thursday night, when the Florida Supreme Court refused his request to force Miami-Dade County to hand count ballots. County election officials stopped counting on Wednesday, saying they wouldn't be able to meet Sunday's deadline.
David Boies/Gore Campaign Attorney "What they effectively did was disenfranchise the voters of that county. We've said from the beginning that we wanted the votes counted...however that comes out that comes out."
In Washington today, vice presidential candidate Dick Cheney was released form the hospital after suffering a minor heart attack early Wednesday morning. Doctors say his condition now is good.

The pilot says everyone aboard the ten-passenger aircraft got off safely.
The plane is still on fire right now; people at the airport can see smoke coming from the scene of the emergency.

There's no word yet on just how the accident happened. News-7 has a crew at the airport and we'll have more information later this afternoon. But again, no one's been hurt.
