A store full of wedding dresses is one of two local businesses damaged in an early-morning fire.

Investigators believe electrical problems may be to blame for the blaze which started at Everything Shabby-dot com, then spread to Patina .. both on 419 in Roanoke County.

17- year old Adam Hubert suffered moderate hypothermia after getting lost while hiking along a private trail Saturday afternoon.
Adam says he lost his way after running ahead of his sister and friend to warm up their car.
At first he says, he thought he could find his way out but a few hours later phoned 9-1-1.

The Town of Blacksburg has received a consultant's recommendations for conducting future triathlons.
This follows an accident that killed a triathlon bicyclist in June.
Gary Wayne Taylor was struck by a vehicle along the triathlon route.
The report suggests police are traffic control personnel should be stationed at ALL intersections that require cars to stop for participants.
It also recommends re-routing the bike course away from town and traffic.
