Roanoke City Police say they have a suspect but have not filed any charges.

Still the thought of it happening again lingers in Ferguson's mind after seeing Roanoke City Police Officers search a nearby home. During that search officials found meat, antifreeze, and several shot guns. Although the man is a suspect in the case, so far the lab can not link the items found in his home to the tainted meat.

Terri Beamer's 10 year old dog Bubba died in October from antifreeze poisoning. Now Beamer is part of the newly formed neighborhood watch program that is trying to prevent incidents like this from happening again.

Employees at the Old Country Buffet in Lynchburg tell us they were told at 8 tonight the restaurant was closed for good, and at once.
When we called the restaurant, a man answering the phone told us the restaurant was closed and would not re-open.

A house on Gerard Street caught fire around seven thirty.
Demetria Conway and two of her children were able to escape.
They were treated for minor injuries.
Firefighters rescued another two-year-old child from the burning home.
That child was resuscitated on the scene, taken to U-V-A medical center, and is in stable condition.

The principal goal is to check for drunk drivers, and state police say this is just one of several sobriety checkpoints they'll conduct across the commonwealth this weekend.
