Officer Moulton says the students had no qualms about doing business on school grounds. In one case the undercover officer said she bought five "hits" of L-S-D from another girl IN THE CLASSROOM just as the bell was about to ring for fourth-period English.

Apparently not all the suspects have gotten the message. Judge Philip Trompeter sent two juveniles back to Coyner Springs today, because urine tests indicated they'd been smoking marijuana. Their cases come up again in February.

In an Amherst County courtroom today, Carlos Tabb was found guilty of two counts of first degree murder .. for gunning down two people in an argument over a cellphone.

Tabb was charged with the shooting deaths of 17- year- old Brian Thomas and his 21- year- old sister Stephanie last May.
Tabb argued he acted in self defense. Both victims also were armed with guns, although Brian Thomas was shot six times as he was running AWAY from the scene.
The four-man, eight-woman panel is now deliberating on a prison sentence for Tabb.

A head-on collision this morning killed a Radford woman. Police say another car swerved into her lane.

It happened shortly after 9 on Route 8, just outside Christiansburg.
State police say 69-year-old Virginia Roop was killed when her car was hit head-on.
The driver of the second car, 64-year-old Charles Kempfer of Riner, was pinned in his car for nearly an hour.
He was flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where his condition is not available.
A third driver was not injured.
The accident blocked traffic for nearly two hours.
No one has been charged.

Demetria Conway and two of her children were able to escape.
They were treated for minor injuries.
Firefighters rescued another two-year-old child from the burning home.
