Officer Moulton posed as a Northside High School student last year and says she caught students selling marijuana, ecstacy and L-S-D as part of the so-called Operation Babyface. Today Derek Chapman pled guilty to selling marijuana and conspiring with another juvenile student to sell more pot. He will be sentenced in February.

Delegate Whitt Clement of Danville is raising money to run in the Democratic primary next year.
Clement would face Roanoke state senator John Edwards, and Henrico County delegate Don McEachin, for the party's nomination.
Clement has sent a letter to supporters asking for funds for a statewide campaign.
He'll make a formal announcement after the holidays.

Jon Colombini arrived in Havana Monday, hoping to persuade his ex- wife Arletis Blanco to let him return to the U-S with their son, Jonathon.
The two share custody of the five- year- old boy, and Columbini says he wants to raise his son in the states.
Blanco took their son to Cuba on a fishing boat last month.
Florida authorities were investigating her on embezzlement charges when she left the country.

A Roanoke family escaped serious injury this morning after their home caught on fire.
The family residing at the home on the 28-hundred block of Lyndhurst Street Northwest woke up to find the house filled with smoke.

The mother and her two children were able to get out of the burning home safely.
Firefighters quickly knocked the flames down, but the home suffered about 30 thousands dollars in damages.
The woman and her children were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
