((42 year old Michael McDermott showed no emotion standing before a judge Wednesday morning even as prosecutors re-created the grizly scene of the shooting massacre at Edgewater Technology.

McDermott is accused of gunning down seven of his co-workers Tuesday. He was a software tester at the Internet consulting firm and apparently arrived at work after Christmas in good spirits, talking to other workers. But a few hours later McDermott allegedly started the shooting spree...specifically targeting employees in the accounting and human resources departments.

SOT: Thomas O Reilly/Wakefield Prosecutor

Police say McDermott may have been upset after the IRS asked Edgewater Technology to start garnishing his wages to pay back taxes. He was apprehended in the lobby heavily armed with an ak-47 rifle, a shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol

After searching McDermott's home, police say they found more evidence linking him to the crime. They say they found bomb making magazines and boxes full of chemicals labelled dangerous.
