It was a dry weekend for many Roanoke residents. Freezing temperatures are being blamed for a number of water main breaks that left many people without water this holiday weekend. Roanoke Police say crews have been working for several days to repair the ruptured mains .. Police say major lines in Southwest Roanoke have been repaired and MOST people should have an adequate water supply. A few small mains still need repairs - but there's no word on when they'll be fixed.
