The Henry County School District believes less is more.
The district wants to consolidate several schools to cut costs.
More than a hundred parents turned out tonight to voice their opinions on the plan.
As Justin McLeod found out everyone agrees change is needed in the district, but how to achieve that is causing quite a debate.

The Henry County School District has a tough assignment on its hands.
It must come up with a way to cut costs without hurting the education opporunities for its students.
District officials believe the answer lies in a long range facilities plan.

To achieve that, the school board is considering a plan to consolidate four of the high schools into two buildings. District officials believe this is needed because of dwindling enrollment which translates into less revenue for the schools.

Thats why they are holding these meetings to hear what people think.
