So far, no charges have been filed.

The Virginia Senate is expected vote this week on legislation that would make it illegal for passengers in a vehicle to possess an open container of alcohol. Drinking alcohol while driving is already a misdemeanor. But legislation proposed by Senator Thomas Norment would make possession of an open container of booze by passengers in a car or truck a traffic offense. Opponents say adults should be able to enjoy a drink, as long as they have a designated driver.

But many of our viewers kicked us around for putting it in news.
A viewer from Moneta [Alice Swain] wrote: "During regular programming a special report came on, we thought it might be a plane crash, earthquake or a report about the presidential race. But no, it had to do with Va. Tech's Michael Vick going pro. I think this has gotten way out of hand. A special report for this. Thank God the season is over."

The New York giants are in the Super Bowl for the first time in 10 years.
Kerry Collins passed for 381 yards and a career high 5 touchdowns as the giants beat the Minnesota Vikings 41 to
nothing.

Even with the home field advantage, The Giants were the underdog in the N-F-C championship game.
But Collins quickly took the advantage. On New York's first possession he goes to the air and hits Ike Hilliard on this 46 yard T-D pass to make it 7 to nothing in the first quarter.
Minnesota turned it over on the kickoff and Collins goes to the air again this time hitting Greg Comella on the 18
yard T-D pass and it was 14 to nothing with 12 minutes left in the quarter.
Collins threw two T-D passes in the second This Joe Jurevicius 8 yarder and New York went in at the half leading the Vikings 27 to nothing.

The Baltimore Ravens are headed to the Super Bowl. The Offense scored one touchdown on a big play and the defense did what it's been doing all season in a 16 to 3 win over the Oakland Raiders.

Oakland added a field goal then after an interception Matt Stover nails his second of the day this 28 yarder gave the Ravens a 13 to 3 lead in the third quarter.

The Hokies won a tri meet this weekend at the Cassell. Tech downed Howard, American and UNC Greensboro.
